Please can someone recommend a quality online printer? Photobox? / Boots? etc etc.

I am deveoping from RAW so I need to know what colour profile to use and ask is 300 DPI the best for A4?

Someone told me I should use CYNK? Whats this ? IS it better? I am lost.....:(

All help rally appreciated

Photobox...

They ask that pics are sRGB.

I have never had an issue with them and have had hundreds of prints.

Photobox quality is excellent. They just upgraded the website (last week) so I can't comment on how well the new one works (old one was fine!). The turn around time from them is excellent.

According to the info below, you should save in sRGB.

nope. You should go to DS Colour Labs. The best prices. The best printing.

300 dpi a4 (8x12) is 45p. You will not find better. Upload pics in RGB.

Cheers Tez,

when you say RGB, is AdobeRGB the same?

No, AdobeRGB and sRGB are different; most printers use sRGB. You might want to read this thread as well if you haven't already.

Can anyone suggest such a service in the states? Not that I have anything against Photobox however if I have to pay in pounds I might get a bit worn out. American money is much lighter and easier to send. :)

Tony, RGB & sRGB are different. sRGB is for web use mainly. RGB is for the real world.

I have not used either of these yet, but both have been recommended on this site and others.

As a DPC Member you can use the DPC Prints site; prices are competitive, and quality is usually excellent, and sales help support this site. You can also sell prints for a profit ...
