I just got a membership last night and I payed using Paypal. I am still shown as a registered user, and I want to enter the Magazine challenge before it closes. Why am I not a member yet? How long does it generally take for a Paypal Check to pass?

When I joined a couple of days ago, it took effect immediately.

have you loged out and back in?

I've just had a word with Drew - you paid via e-check, which takes about 4 days to clear, rather than normal paypal, which is instant. However, he's upgraded you to membership level pending your check clearing, or until Tuesday, whichever is sooner.
