I can't find the quotation, but Oliver Wendell Holmes is reputed to have said that he always turned to the sports pages first, because it was the only part of the newspaper devoted to our accomplishments rather than our failures. But then, that was before free agency and trash talking .... |

That website is just a truly beautiful idea.
Thank you for referencing it.
Probably the first reaction of most of us is just that we do not believe in good news. We are so immersed in a negative reality that, unfortunately, what used to be weird has become normal for us and viceversa.
It is essentially important then, no matter what, that the good news are genuine. If that website is able to do that, it is offering to the public a value which cannot be priced.
I particularly like this one:
Indian elephants stop trains to help injured jumbo.
