I've been following this story with interest:

Newlyweds jailed after brawl at Pittsburgh-area hotel

At first I thought it was pretty hilarious, and then I realized that I have a wedding (and reception) to shoot at this very hotel in a few weeks! Hopefully my couple won't be quite as wild... although I know that there's already some tension related to their wedding (a disapproving mother).

Just imagine what kinds of photos they got at this weekend's wedding!

At least, when he knocks her teeth out, he can fix them later LOL.

Take body guards when you go to shoot there next week? : )

Heh... maybe I will! The bride and groom I'm shooting are super, super nice people, but there's a significant age difference between them, and the bride's mother is apparently very much against the whole thing. The bride's mother actually tried to run the groom over with her car (and I'm pretty sure they weren't joking when they told me that)! So it may be an interesting night if mom shows up.

Must have been one helluva party. I can only imagine what the vows were like: "...Until death or Police action do us part." "You may now karate kick your Bride!"

Best part of the news article:

"The couple declined comment upon their release Sunday morning.
She left with her father, still dressed in her white gown.
Wielechowski left alone, sporting a swollen eye, tuxedo pants, a bloody T-shirt and one shoe."

Now that would make for a great last page in the wedding album!

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette did a follow up story in today's paper, which is also pretty funny. A neighbor suggests they were upset because "Roto-Rooter has been digging up their front lawn, which is all torn up. That would stress out anyone."

I'm mainly just practicing how to cower in a corner and whimper in a high-pitched tone.
