I finally decided on the lens that I'll keep for a very long time, Tokina 16-50mm 2.8!
I am so happy, yah!

Congrats. It is always hard to choose, there are so many. It sounds like you want to do some wide angles. I am looking at getting a set wide angle. We are thinking of going to Niagara Falls for our vacation, and a wide angle sure would come in handy. I am just not sure how much I will use it.
Believe it or not, the one I really use is a macro filter that I got a few years ago for my Sony H1. It is a screw on variety, and basically allows you to get to within 3 inches of your subject and get great focus. I use that 90.00 investment so much. I have recently discovered that by going with a bigger aperture, like a 9 or 11, I get even better detailed shots. It is like rediscovering an old friend.
