Hi. I am having a problem copying RAW images from my camera to the computer since i reloaded windows xp. I can see two files on the camera but both show as jpegs. and they copy over as jpegs also. Any thoughts?

| As far as I know, the USB connectivity of the Canon cameras does not support full access as removable storage, and one of the implications is that you need the Canon software running in order to transfer RAW files. I don't believe this has changed. Were you previously using the Canon software? |

no i was previously using vista, so dog slow though I went back to xp. That must be it. Thanks for the help guys. I have downloaded the canon utility and will transfer them over like this until I can get a reader. Thanks alot....
