Hey. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why there is a color cast on this photo towards the bottom left of the photo. The setup was a large softbox above and to the right and a white reflector to the bottom and left.
Thanks!
Ben

is this the only image it showed up on...that is really weird. Sorry can't think of anything right off the bat that's why I wondered if it was with just one image. |

It looks like you have two colors of light here. Is your reflector whiter than your softbox?
I see the same thing in the previous shot, just not as strong.

Select the area that you want to change with the lasso and feather it. Copy it to a new layer. Go to selective color adjustment layer and change the color composition. Place your cursor between your feathered layer and the selective color ajdustment layer. Hold down the alt and drag the selective color adjustment layer to the feathered layer. That will keep the adjustment layer on the feathered layer only, then you can go back and refine it.

I was thinking the same as rjkstesch with the reflector/softbox color thing, but then noticed it cuts through the background as well, in the same diagonal line almost as if there was a tobacco GND on there. If it were the reflector/softbox color thing, that line would be more diffuse or different that that on her face. It also doesn't flow with the contours of her face, the warmer color would also be more apparant on her left side (right side of photo) of her chin since the softbox would be harder on there. A shutter speed set a bit higher than the camera's sync speed can have similar results, but that is usually a vertical line. I dunno. |

so frustrating that I'm having a hard time fixing the photo. but i think you are right now that I think about it and look at the photo again. I think it was where the reflection ended maybe from the reflector. The reflector was in the lower left corner (right side of tracy) pointing diagonally up. Maybe the reflection ended about half way through her face? Only thing I can think of, I guess I will have to keep an eye on that.
Thanks for your help everyone.
