I think it would be an interesting exercise to purposely comment on an image that represents a subject clearly beyond your comfort zone. Most of us are attracted to pictures we instantly connect with, and we comment accordingly, sometimes leaving our critical abilities at the door. Search for a subject you would normally not approach to comment on during challenges, or in others' portfolios. For example, if you're sick of kid pictures, comment on a kid picture. Can't stand flower photos? Pick one and comment. Nudes make you queasy? Comment. Here's mine.

Good idea.
That image had 178 votes and 3 comments so maybe you're not the only one who found commenting uncomfortable.

From the HDR gallery (not sure if it is truly outside my comfort zone, but I generally don't like HDR. does that count?)
