Just back from a 12 day trip to Italy, where I was on holiday with my girl. Been busy for a couple of hours on this one (14 images, but lots of overlap):

The URL leads to the 1200px file.
Here is the thumb to the 800px one:

First RAW conversion with Nikon Capture NX (batch)
Then Distortion correction with the PTlens plugin in Photoshop CS2 (batch).
Then Photomerge in CS2 (I would love to use Autopanopro instead, but don't want to buy it yet).
Then ironing out the many mistakes that Photomerge makes.
Then all the other stuff.
It is not so big, only 7800px wide, but it takes a lot of time on my pc to process it all.

ok then your pc must be as crappy as mine...;D
i just think it's strange that in my cs3 photomerge i can hardly find any mistakes after stitching and blending
even with indoor wide ange panoramas such as this one (from 7 photos shot @20mm with approx. 20% overlap)
maybe the cs3 photomerge has been improved over the cs2 one? who knows... |

hey sander -- i changed your photo to a link. I would have made a thumb, but I can't find the photo in your portfolio. If you want to make the link into a thumb, go for it! :)
Spectacular photo btw. |

And one from Venezia, the Grand Canal, 23 photos, hosted at pbase because of the 3000px+ size:
