Whats the difference between the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras by Canon
and the regular 18-55mm lense that comes with the camera kid?
I already know that quality of the lense is one of the features, but when it comes to wide angle ability. How do they differ? |

The field of view difference is not going to be big. The quality, however, will (especially at the edges and especially at the widest apertures).
