Hi all
According to the rules, the title of the submission to the magazines chanllenge should be the name of the mag that you have in mind. That's fine, but can we add something to the end of the title to provide a little context? For ex., if your shot was for "Dogs behaving badly" magazine, could you title it "Dogs behaving badly: Let go of the stick!" (with a photo that compliments the title)? I noticed that this wasn't the case in the previous magazine cover challenge, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was not allowed.

It is "allowed" -- there are almost no restrictions on titles. Whether it's advisable is a separate question; my own sense is that more people dislike long explanatory titles than appreciate them, but that's just one opinion. |
