I think this stat has revealed more about photographer bias than it really has illuminated any supposed voter bias. ;)

Bingo! I've kept my mouth shut here, but have been thinking the same thing. It goes hand in hand with the outrage that is voiced whenever ribbon-winners have 1-votes and 2-votes, whilst at the same time nobody whines about also-rans with 10-votes and 9-votes. Go figure...

Or, as just pointed out by shutterpuppy, it's possible that the participants are judging more accurately. ;-)

Then they came for the non-participants and banned them, because non-participants were assumed to be ignorant of what it means to create a good shot for the challenge, and I said nothing, because I'm not ignorant.

Then the connection to the old poem breaks down, but we're still left with no one being allowed to vote.

LOL.

How about we strip all voting rights from everyone but me? My vote is the only vote that counts. That is the final solution. :)

Perhaps I missed the scientific study that showed personal bias was behind all of this? You guys may be right, but at this point since I've seen no evidence to prove it, I can only conclude that you two are guilty of the same personal bias crime you're decrying. Sorry.
