I'm looking to purchase a tripod. I prefer not to use one most of the time but I know there will be times when it will be needed. How much weight should it be able to hold, will I need any special brackets to help the weight balance if using my telephoto lense?

Is there anything you can think of I didn't mention here?

If it helps my current set up is a Fuji S3 with a Sigma 28-70mm F2.8-4 DG and a Tamron 70-200mm lense.
