I'm getting interviewed in the paper tomorrow (yey!) about the upcoming photography show that I'm a featured artist in. They are going to probably want to put a few of my pictures in the paper (small and local), do I need to have some kind of contract? |

you don't necessarily have to have a contract. As a newspaper they are allowed to use any photo they wish as long as it is in editorial context.
If there are people in the photos you will definitely want to have your model releases handy just in case someone tries to tell the newspaper they didn't have permission to use that photo.
