Got the last of them a few weeks back... which I was "stoked" about.

My DPChallenge Goals for 2008:
- have a photo do better than 5.0 in a challenge } Stella Artois
- have a photo do better than 5.5 in a challenge } Stella Artois
- have a photo do better than 6.0 in a challenge } Dockland Blues
- have a photo do better than 6.5 in a challenge } Evening on the Yarra

Am looking at preparing my 2009 goals, which will include a 7.0, a ribbon and something to do with comments.

I don't think I had any other than my normal raise my average, and that's been working well. Oh, and the always coveted ribbong thing, which isn't going as well.
Avg is 5.22.
Of my last 10 entries all have scored above my average.

My business is rockin' and that's reward enough!

Goals? Although I have many 'mentally noted' goals, I never put them in writing. Good thing too - I haven't achieved any of them. I did throw myself a curve with a new camera and attempting to switch to PS CS3 as my main processing software. I have partially reached one goal though - replace the images in the top rated line on my profile. So far have done this with two of them. The rest have been dismal performers and one self DQ.

Put them in your DPC profile - writing down your goals makes all the difference. It keeps you focused or something psychological.

1. When GeneralE isn't looking, sneak one of my blurry photos into his favorites page

2. Find a friend for my one and only ribbon.

3. Get rid of my recurring nightmare that my camera's "on" button will disappear during DPCO III

4. Improve my sense of humor with every challenge entered - Ongoing Success...;-)

I didn't set any photo orientated goals this year - I just went for world peace.

To be honest it's had mixed success, but I'm not sure I am going to fully achieve it by Christmas . . .

Maybe I should set less stretching ones for next year : )
