I really could not decide which challenge to enter. Here is my 'outtake' from the landscape challenge. I ended up going with the safer "Centered Comp" challenge instead.
My fear was too many others were going to use the nuts and bolts idea that Carl Warner captured so wonderfully (See his website carlwarner for great ideas). Carl's website was discussed during the challenge and the nuts and bolts shot he did is shown in the "orange" box and shown on page 2.
I ended up deciding others would choose this approach...I can see that I was right!
Kudos to all those who entered this tough little challenge.

this is my feeble attempt to pay homage to  jemison's shot "Flight" I just love this shot.
My shot was with fabric  I know now that I over did the curves and blew out the colors, but I learned, hopefully. I want to thank everyone who gave me a comment. |
