Here are a few photographs that I took while in Seattle the past couple of weeks. They are all geo-coded, so you can see on the Flickr map where I was standing when I took them. ;-)

Also, be sure to check out my High Dynamic Range image of the SeaTac Central Terminal food court area (see thumbnail below).

I’ve seen shots taken in this terminal where the outside sky is properly exposed but the people and object inside are silhouetted. I’ve seen shot where the people and inside objects are properly exposed, but the outside sky is so bright and blown-out, losing all detail. I wanted everything to be properly exposed, so I use an HDR Merge approach and took three shots of the same composition, but at varying exposures. For HDR, I normally try to capture five to eight exposures, but on this trip, I didn’t have a tripod, so I could only shoot three exposures, while hand-holding the camera—all in manual mode.
