Lol I blame my filthy PC screen on all you lot!!! The number of time i have spluttered food and drink over the screen from things I have read....I have lost count!
Anyway my screen really is quite dirty. How do you clean your screen?

Best thing I've ever used on any screen is the kit you get from the eye doctor with a shammie type cloth and the cleaning solution they give for eye glasses.

Same here... and certainly at a lot more affordable price than what one pays for the product you purchase at a computer store.

LCD or CRT?

Another suggestion is a 50% solution of rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol/isoproponol) with water (distilled would be best, but tap is okay). Put this in a small atomizer spray bottle and use a clean, soft cotton cloth. This should work with either CRT or LCD screens. Far cheaper than anything you'd buy for screens. (I paid under a $1 for quart of the alcohol and my wife had a small spray bottle. In the last couple of months, I have probably used less than 1 oz of the mix.)

I use Screening Clean Gel for everything from the 19" LCD to the 65". 1 or 2 squirts, doesn't run or streak. The one I use is by Sanus I pick it up a bestbuy for 10 bucks.

I've used it on both without any problems.
