I need a little help, well maybe a lot, but I'll just ask for a little :p
I am creating a business plan which is required for my entry into earning a grant towards my business. I am having trouble comming up with projected profits, and was wondering if anyone had any insight as to the prices I could charge, and the quantity of sales I will recieve.
I need a price for prints, sized 4x6, 8x12, and 10x15. I also need insight as to how many I may be able to sell, operating with my own website and with framed prints availible for sale in hopefully ~10 loactions in the city.
I also need prices/packages for portait sessions and event photography. I will work with an assistant at portrait sessions and a second photographer when covering events. I am really unsure about the number of portrait sessions and events I will be able to book. Prior to charging, I will be doing formal portait sessions and coving several events in order to have experience and a portfolio to show potential clients. What can a photogrpaher just entering in the industry expect earn and how often can they expect to be booked?
I think that is all for now, but I will probably have more questions later.
