19th Place!!! My best score to date and the second highest with the lens I shot it with!!!!!! With all of the wonderful entries and so many this feels like a ribbon!

While searching out shots of the daff fields (mainly in prep for the upcoming tulip bloom) in the Skagit Valley I came accross a rain squall. I followed it around some having a great time and many opportunities for dramatic shots. I also picked up a group of migrant workers picking daffs.

Rand, I think the picture you put in the challenge was better than these outtakes. In the original one you can see that the gull is eyeing up the food and ready to pick at it. In these ones, you can not see that and would not know it was doing that as it is just a tight area. If the gulls beak was in the foreground it would have worked, but i think you choose well for the challenge. |
