ok...so ive been looking around for a new laptop...a gaming one...and ive found 2 so far that i like...which ill link to....but i figure why not ask for some other peoples opinions...now i want a cool looking laptop....looks matter...with a NICE graphics card...no integrated or shared crap....price range...up to $2000...
heres the 2 ive found

Not too sure about the ATI Radeon 2600 (I would rather have the nVidia 8xxx) but these have 17" Widescreen, 3G's of RAM, bigger disks, and if you want on the first two you can have Bluray (Altough I would wait on any of the first round 1.x Bluray players/writers as Sony has failed to produce a standard for the manufactures)
Be advised if you get the Sony, and you don't blow the disk away and load yourself, you are going to spend and hour getting the crapware off (and you will never get all of it). I support many of these on a consulting job I do and the crapware just bogs the OS down to a halt.
Sorry to say Toshiba isn't what it used to be either... if you go that route get the 3-year waranty.

I wouldn't use Buy.com, look here, I've used them before and it was fine, but I really trust reseller ratings, so I'm going to try and stay away from that site.

but seriously, if you want something with a nice graphics card and gaming capabilities, look at the dell XPS line.
