Barry, you lost me on that last one. I'm suggesting a thread, automatically generated after the challenge ends, for the "what went wrong", "how would you" crowd to all post in the same place. Paul has suggested that maybe that could be combined with the automatically generated "Outtakes" thread at some point but probably not right now. And post-mortems would still be voluntary - not sure what making it an automatically generated thread would do to do that?

Outtake threads used to be started by individuals, then the site started the auto-generated one and it's expected that any "outtakes" be posted to the auto-generated threads now. No individual "outtake" threads allowed.

Currently the "what went wrong", "how would you" threads are started by individuals. There has been some collective grouping on a voluntary basis to the "post-mortem" threads starting to show up. Key word, voluntary. I just don't want to lose the ability to start my own thread about a challenge entry image for a completed challenge if I want to.

Summary:
When the auto-generated "outtakes" thread started, SC would direct people to post to those rather than their own personal thread.

Don't want that to happen with post-challenge photo feedback threads as well.

OK, I understand what you are saying now. And I guess an individual would still have the right to start their own "what went wrong" thread if they wished, but I would also guess that a thread with more participants would get more views, and hopefully get that individual more feedback than a solo thread might.
