Has anybody here seen this? It's a guidline that attaches/adheres to your viewfinder to aid in framing your shot for cropping/resizing. I think I saw it advertised in a magazine, but can't seem to find it. Has anyone else seen it or know where to get it? Thanks.

Are you referring to custom Focusing Screens which replace the one inside your camera? I doubt anything that attaches the the viewfinder is going to be accurate.

Only pro canon series cameras allow for replacement of focus screans. I think the 30D or 40D also allows this.

This guy has split screans for sale. You might want to check around his items for some guidelines.

No....they aren't quite what I'm looking for. What I saw was more like a grid. I'll keep looking... Thanks anyway.

"Crop Lines" were in Studio Photography recently...a bit pricey though.

ETA: Google Crop Lines and you will come up with a bunch of various websites.

There are cheaper outfits out there. I remember seeing one posted here last year priced around $100-130.

This was the one mentioned in the thread I mentioned.

I personally believe CropLines is the way to go. I've been very pleased with them and their service. The price was an issue at first, but the money I have invested in this business thus far doesn't come close. Plus it's actually glass that's etched, not painted lines on glass that will fade over time. JMHO.
