From a post on DPReview, I'm a big fan of these images. IMO they're fairly non-DPC, none-the-less I love the lighting, composition, and color as well as the cohesiveness of the series.
I actually think he may be registered here but doesn't look like he was ever active:

| I like them too. Very cool. I try to take photos like this but I get strange looks from people when they see me focusing on a trash can or other odd item. |

Heh I've tried to do this sort of imagery also but never pulled it off with anywhere near this much success. |
