I got mine. I suppose it's a badge of honor now - hahaha! I just hope we're not really getting ones. I would be vexed.

I've got DNMC 1 today as well, it is my first free study challange I join, and it was the first thing I saw today,
I took me 20 min to figure out it was a joke ..
Was it funny ?????
Well .. I think it was :)
I helped waking me up without a coffee :)

I had some fun this morning. I went around the house and set all the clocks ahead an hour and then woke up my kids and told them they were late for school. Never seen them get ready to go so fast. I even put on my jacket and shoes for added effect, They were ready to run out the door when I said April Fools. I know it is an old gag, But my daughters are 6 and 7 years old so it worked, I might do it again tomorrow just to speed things up a little.

Soooo forking funny to watch everyone get bent out of shape over this!

Let's say there's a parking lot with 501 cars. A vandal buys 42 cartons of raw eggs and smashes one egg on each of the cars. Pretty funny, huh! Unfortunately, the police catch the vandal in the act. Do they join in the fun with a hearty laugh? Do they require the vandal to clean up the mess? And, finally, is this a "forgive and forget" incident because it's April Fool's Day? My car was in the parking lot. And, feels like it's been vandalized.

Poof ....it'll all be fixed at midnight. That's at least what the survey says. ;-)

I marked mine as helpful. Wanted to write Ha Ha I hope. Wanted to believe the 1 was really a 10. Who is the greater or happier fool? Should that be a contest? (Better finish my coffee so I can get on with some SERIOUS DNMC).

It's virtual vandalism Richard. The windshields clean themselves in just a few hours.
The police (SC), if they didn't do it themselves, are probably in on the joke. So sit back, enjoy life. You might get a blue ribbon this time. It could lower your blood pressure and extend your life. Life is mysterious and obscure, not transparent.

Well said. And if this follows the pattern of last year, a real comment will be left later. Considering how people complain about lack of comments, this is a good thing.

Do? Go and lampoon all of the pictures in Raish's portfolio. Leave inane comments that make no sense whatsoever and are cryptic and obscure.

E.g. I like the leading lines from the model's nose but the ouvre you chose doesn't match the color palette of the gypsy in the background.

Or more simply: This looks like you took a picture of a used Kleenex and oversharpened it.

Be creative and silly.

:)

Hey, I'm all for a good laugh, too! Just too bad it's not funny. And, for me, the real issue is the protection of our images from all kinds of this type of stuff, virtual, administration sponsored, or whatever. This kind of thing calls into question the integrity of the voting. I'm relaxed about it. Not mad! Just think it's a bad precedent to create.... and evidently perpetuate.

Your image is protected. Not one single person viewing, and/or voting will see the comment and score. It will have absolutely no effect on how your image will be commented or scored.

Exactly how would it call into question the integrity of voting????? If the person actually voted a 1 on all the images his vote will *AUTOMATICALLY* be scrubbed from contributing to the results. I would call this a *VALIDATION* of the efforts made to *ENSURE* voting integrity.

Well, I hope this is true! The removal of this stuff is what I expect... removal of the vote, the comment and a suspension of the violator. A comment of assurance from the SC would be appreciated. As of now, it creates an issue of reduced trust and lack of confidence in reining in this kind of behavior. Again, I'm confident in the SC. And, this is not a life and death issue. I'm happy! I'm having a great day. It's just that this low class "stuff" is something we should not be forced to endure, or even look at.
