yeah you can also buy a cheaper body but a better lens. with 1400 dollars you could buy the Rebel XT and the 10-22 or Xti and the 70-200 4.0L. Lenses are better investment anyways, they have good resale value.

It is worth you checking reviews first. Don't miss out the Pentax range, plenty camera for your money. |

I think i have decided after a month and my price range i am going to go with the d80 and hopefully another lens and flash. |

So many good DSLR choices hard to go wrong. I made the same choice 2 months ago and have been very pleased with my D80. Good luck!

you may want to consider the Sony DSLR-A700apparently it is on clearance @ best buy for $850.00 from what i have been reading over the last few day this camera is on par with the canon 40d |
