Hey all. I am new here. Thought I would toss something out to contribute.

I just bought an EOS 10D which I am in love with. I took it out for the first time to a birthday party downtown Portland the other night. Leaving the party I grabbed this shot. It is the first of only a few shots I have taken with the new camera that struck me.

I was walking to my car, saw the train coming, barely had time to whip out the camera, turn it on, aim and fire (while panning at low shutter speed).

It isn't award winning but hey, take it as my first hello with many more to come.

Thanks for looking. This site is a nice place to hang.

BTW - I am doing this on my laptop. I can't tell if the image is too light or dark. It looks way different on my LCD versus a CRT. Any advice on matching the two monitors?
