I just shot some more pics of my great dane, Simon wearing hats. I had difficulty with the lighting to get the background white so I'd appreciate some help.
I took this shot back in January and it was the only shot I got because he wouldn't sit still (therefore it was blurry):
I tried it again tonight:
Here are a few more shots:
I would appreciate your feedback and I hope they make you smile!

Wow! Great shots! You have a very obedient dog there, a good looking one too.
Fantastic B&W shots.
I really like the last one. Perhaps from a slightly different angle from the left to inlude more of hte word 'bad' would add to it just a tad more.

That second one (that I posted) is really great. I love the perspective. It's also really funny that his eyes are about rolled back in his head as if he's trying to tell you something! lol
These are all great shots and you (and Simon) must have a lot of patience. You did a super job!

Great photos - congratulations! They will make nice prints. Have you considered submitting them for calendars, etc?
Wish I could get my dog to sit nicely like that when I'm using the camera. We were testing my new flash in front of her last year, and now she runs and hides when I power up the camera. She hates the sound the camera makes while focusing.

Hi! Looks like you are having more fun! :)
I like Bad Dog the best, with Giddy Up a close second.
Great dog! |

Great Pics..! Great Danes are the best. I have one that is almost 8 years old named Otis.

I think you need to take more care with your background, a sheet littered with creases is nevr going to help a photograph.
The dog elemnts are good - a bit small but nice to look at. Try reshooting with a cleaner background also taking more care with the exposure - the sheet looks light grey where I presume it is white?

Great subject. I like the lines of the hat, ears and jawls on the Giddy Up photo. Also, the Bad Dog photo is great. Good job on the composition. I agree with Jonpink's advice. I've been trying to eliminate the background totally and just focus on the dog. |

Here. I found one I did of my Great Dane a few months ago. I was just wasting some time in Photoshop when I did this... |

I think the Giddy-Up had lots of sass. |
