Not all of us scientists look like this. Some actually look like this:
I was trying to capture her fashion side and her science side in one shot. Regardless of whether or not people got that (I thought the title was blunt, although a play on words) I just thought some of the comments were interesting, stating that her dress made her a less convincing scientist or that I should get a real scientist. I think these comments, although not harsh, are interesting with regards to the perception of scientists.
This is Lisa, an organic chemistry Ph.D candidate. Aside from being a very good chemist (and chemical biologist), she also has a passion for fashion (she also makes some of her own dresses) and regularly dresses up when she goes to lab, much like she is in the picture. However, she is much more a scientist than a model.
I'm not complaining about the score or the comments (although only one person connected the colors in the beakers with her dress... that was a pain to get right), I'm just trying to let people know that not all scientists look like this  (btw, that isn't a shot at Artvets picture. I actually quite liked his portrait).
The comments and votes are very much appreciated though.
