I know this will sound insincere, but no lie, my goal was to break 5.5 this week. I had actually chosen another photo, and my wife "suggested" that I select the one submitted. Apparently, I should take her judgement more often.
FWIW: As the week wore on, and the score wasn't quite where I thought it needed to be for a ribbon, I hit the update button everytime I was near a computer. I had settled on hoping for a first page finish. This was truly a tremendous surprise.
So, in addition to thanking my wife, and daughter who helped take the shot, I'd like to thank everyone who voted on and commented on my image.
I'll be happily back in my normal scoring range this week, so please try not to wake me. This dream ain't half bad!
