Is a real one as unholy looking as the monstrosity above? I'm very curious now. I look forward to seeing an authentic one, and will hold you at your word, rather than search the www.

I would think it would be "5": 0-1-2-3-4 5 6-7-8-9-0, but wait!!! DPC has no zero, ha! You, are correct!!

Steve was right, you learn something new everyday on DPC...

But I'm not gonna defend myself for having a 4.9 ratio, since it's much closer to median than it is to negative, and on only two challenges. Nice gotcha! emorgan!

"Supernaught, you are taking DPChallenge too seriously. This is an entertainment medium, where we vote for fun on other photographers submissions. Along the way we learn alot from exchanginging ideas and seeing vistas we might never see in real life. Since the only prize is a ribbon, and not a material reward, we don't think the site needs to be restructured. So, c'mon in, relax, and enjoy the great photography and people."

That's actually pretty clever, and I applaud it! But, broken down to it's latin roots, super: meaning above, or over, and the old english nought, or naught meaning the numerical zero, supernaught literally can mean above nothing. Or, taken strictly numerically, it could be translated mean, literally: The number one.

And if used in the American/English vernacular, it could literally mean Quality nothing, or as you suggested, Zero, to an extreme, or amazing degree.

So, yeah... what you said.

I might also add, after viewing some of your macro-shots, thank you, for melting my face off with with those stunning images. Amazing...
