got some birthday cash and was wondering if it's worth purchasing the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D if I have the Nikkor 60mm f2.8D. Is there really a big difference. I don't do many portrait shots, tho might want too soon. Also will there be a new 50mm out soon as they did with the 60mm? Worth waiting a bit?

maybe need isn't the word... :)
I actually jsut picked one up yesterday and I really like it (havn't done a lot of shooting with it yet. guess it really depends on what you plan on doing with it. |

What does need have to do with it?
Apart from the 90mm macro I got recently this is another lens I use quite a bit. (the canon version of course)
