I seem to have lost 29 images from my files. just piff, gone. i've done a search, specifying an image name in the middle of the spread, then specifying just the date created, and found nothing. it's not the end of the world if these are gone forever, but there were some pretty good shots i was hoping to develop. any ideas?

Well, there is software that can pull deleted images from a hard drive or a memory card. The sooner you use it the better chance you have of recovering the photos (before they have a chance of being over-written or something). The one time I used it, it was almost too effective. I got multiple (dozens) of copies of the same image; plus many images from my cache, etc. But I did get the images I wanted, too.
