This is Angela. She was kind enough to allow me to do a shoot with her today on a spur of the moment trip to Charleston. It was a great time, and I'd like thoughts/critiques from my favorite community of photographers if you have the time! These are quick edits of some of my favorites. Overdone?

OK, so very little response to the first batch. Any thoughts on these? :)

Wow, Eric, she's elegant. I didnt' see these before. Must say, though, while posing and location choices are spot on, lighting is off on a few. I wish you'd use fill-flash. :D

If she's willing, shoot her again & again! she has a striking look.

I think you did a GREAT job!
I especially like the shots on the stairs, with her legs all willy-wonka!
Bravo!

The thumbnails do a really poor job of previewing the photograph.

A lot look like they have highlight blowouts and some underexposure on her face-- a problem, obviously. However, it seems like that gets tamed when you look at the full picture. I was impressed! Great job, you got some wonderful shots. I think DSC_4834 is my favorite.

I agree. Lighting was not my friend that day, and the flash was not cooperating. :) We made the best with what we had, and I'm still trying to figure out my flash unit. (hmmmm. . . I'll bet I can find a manual around here somewhere. . . ) :)
