I'm struggling with determining the most professional-looking way to mat a series of sepia prints. For color and b&w, I tend to use a white mat with a black core. However, I'm not sure this would look right with sepia prints. Any thoughts?
Thanks,

I've used that very set up on sepia toned prints and the result is very nice. |

I assume that your prints are on a nice rag paper? Even a gloss of semi glass I would go with a white mat. Not the brightest white but a softer natural white rag mat. If your prints are on a fine art rag, it will be a very nice match that will compliment the sepia print. |

I used an off-white/almost pale pink, at the State Fair last year...looked nice IMO
