I will be shooting several professional ballet dancers the next week and I am a bit nervous. I was wondering if anybody knew of any websites to view, or had any ideas of unique ways to photgraphy them. I am excited to use their graceful movement to create something new and unique. Any suggestions for where I can look to get some ideas would be so helpful? |

As my friend tells me, timing is pretty much everything. Catching them in the right pose. Having a background in ballet really helps. If you're going to shoot a specific showing, why not rent a performance on tape or search youtube to see what you can expect. Have fun and good luck :)
P.S.
You have a wonderful portfolio. Great work. Looking forward to seeing any shots that you'll be willing to post. No pressure though.

WOW...thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. I looked at that link and their are some amazing images in there. These will be done in studio, so I have some control of the lighting. I am really nervous for this project though. More nervous than usual. Thanks again for the link. |
