Hello all, just a quick request to anyone who has a second to give me a bit of criticism on my Free study entry - I only got one comment and ended up around 300th - nice. I like this shot and it's the first thing I've ever had published (albeit in a minor way).

I commented then read the only comment you got during the challenge.
I think that says it all. The eyes need to be in focus. |

I think a different crop to let the mask take up the frame and better focus on the eyes may have helped. Hope you didn't mind but I did a quick edit to illustrate what I'm trying to say.

I also left a comment.
Keep in mind that people tend to vote tougher on the free study challenges. Also, people may vote on what appeals to them, and clowns aren't universally liked. There was also a very recent clown challenge.
