I'm siked (psyched) about this one because it's an artsy image and not a PJ shot...those appear harder to get published.

Also, the image is of a dear friend and the friend she's waiting for is me. This one hit's my heart and made page 2 on the inner cover.

I should add that  roby21112 was published a few weeks back with a very cool image and he turned me onto their search for edgy NYC images, so I owe him a big thanks.
They were interested in three different images and I had my fingers crossed for the one they chose because so many people we know will get a huge kick from seeing that shot in a paper. Big smiles all around.
That image also recieved some of my favorite comments I've ever had on DPC. It's always fun going back and reading them. (except for the last comment recieved LOLOL)

Note: Not all equipment listed is currently owned, but have or do use them regularly and submit to challenges
with them so I leave them in my listing to make it easier. Only camera I do own is the 350D, and it's dead. 
It is on my order list though. |

Totally cool image! And congrats on the pub ;-) One thing, the link under your image on their page is not correct and does not link to your site; looks like they are trying to link to your site through theirs (a common programming mistake); they need to lose the "//www.nypress.com/21/10/news&columns/" crap and link to your real site at //pawdrix.zenfolio.com/ :-)

Thank you for posting the link. I did notice that they messed it up on their site but I didn't feeling like bothering them about it as I assume the web page will not be as heavily viewed as the hard copy, where it's printed correctly.
Now I'm wondering if I should bother them to correct it??? |

Btw, I finally picked up an issue of the NY Press tonight, and your photo looks amazing in newsprint -- even that big black border!
