| My Mac can't read D300 Raw files. I'm ok in Lightroom but the basic viewer doesn't respond to them. Where can I find the patch to get things back up? |

What version is your OS? Apple only just released on Feb 11th version 1.5.2 of Leopard which was the fix needed to see D300/D3 Raw files on the mac. Prior to that release it was not possible to view the files.
Leopard Update
If you are not running Leopard, I'm not sure what the solution is. |

| If your running Tiger still, you won't be able to view them unless it is in Lightroom, Aperture 2, or some other third party program. |

OK
But will they patch it up ever or will I need to get Leopard which I'm not certain I want? |

| Camera support is OS-level, and 10.4.11 was supposed to be the last update for Tiger, so I wouldn't expect future camera support in the old OS. |

So you're saying that Tiger upgrades will/might have the support I need? I hope Apple won't abandone Tiger people to force the Leopard upgrade.

Tiger will not get RAW viewing support for the newest line of camera. You'll have to upgrade to Leopard 10.5.2 to get it. |

No, that's the opposite of what I said. 10.4.11 was the final update. Aside from possible security patches, that's it for Tiger. |

Yeah - Leopard didn't support it either until the update.
