I'm just back from a great weekend away in Brussells.
Heres a few of my favourite shots.

I like "Police" best of the bunch. On Sad Statue, it looks like you were trying to recover detail in the shadows and the statue suffers because of it.
Flower Seller needs a contrast boost and maybe some sharpening.
Brussels is great. The light show in the city center at night is spectacular. |

My fave is the flags. Its just me but I'd like to see that one with a little more pop to the colors.
On Sad Statue, it seems like the poor guys head is lost in the building behind him. On a positive note, good lighting hitting the background building.
Flower Seller- Underexposed?? and bump the contrast a bit.
Atomium is pretty cool, might look good in BW as well. |

I like "Police" most myself.
As for the statue your right. Its actually a composite of two images. In the first one the statue was lost in shadow and in the second you couldn't see the building in the background it was too bright. Im gonna have another attempt at that one.
