coming from me.
A model friend came by last night Pearl Pardo you may remember her from in my gallery from Roots or others. Well she is currently going to school for makeup and whatnot and I was talking to her about a project coming up. Anyway, we ended up doing a little mini shoot, I had this crazy idea to paste lizards on her and use brighter colours. Concept colour organization mine, execution hers. Completely untouched images (which is odd for me not to retouch something. 6-;)

I enjoy the idea of a live lizard, however getting one on the spur of the moment and getting the colours needed would have been the difficult part 6-;
Lizards are kinda.... BUMPy.

These are untouched images? Is she wearing contacts then :)? The eyes are a bit bright neon green for natural right? It's a creative idea for sure.
Image 3: I like your lighting and perspective here, however seems just a bit too shallow on the DOF, her closest eye is slightly out of focus. I DO like your shallow DOF here though.
Image 2: Crop, lighting and DOF is good.
Image 1: Lighting and crop and DOF is once again good, in this case i wish her left eye was completely hidden by her hat.
Overall I like the pictures, but I think they would have been even better without the lizards. Just my two cents :)

Fun Images. The plastic bugs don't work for me. The model is strong enough to not have her cluttered with the "cutesy props. |

Let me be on record as stating, I like the lizards. I think it would have worked just great without them but I think that with them, it's fun and unique. :-) |

Thanks for the comments, and yes they are contacts.
I personally enjoy the images both with and without the lizards. Though, without I didn't take as bright as images, there was just a slightly different feel for me.
She is a fantastic model, and a fantastic makeup artist. It was interesting to see how she took my concept and colours to make something so fun. 'I only hovered slightly' L()L.
