This has been one of my favorite side challenges, not only because I like doing macros but because of the quality of the images presented by everyone. Thanks for the fun and see you in the Cooking side challenge! |

Day 29, Day 30 and Day 31. WooHoo I completed the macro challenge. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed everyones photo. I still plan on going back to comment on some more before I start my April side challenge.

well, I got behind right here at the end. So, you get my last four at one time.
Day 28:
 - just the bark on a piece of firewood
Day 29:
 - the first ant of the season. Rather dull in color but an ant none the less.
Day 30:
[thumb]664506[/thumb] - the end of a burnt out 'hair light'
Day 31:
[thumb]664507[/thumb] - the same 'hair light', but the other end, what was left of it. Not only did the light burn out, it exploded. Glass came showering down. Thank goodness I did not have one of the dogs on the the table posing at the time. |

Day 31 - This challenge has been good to the last drop, but I hope it's just a drop in the bucket for our future macros :P Now I need to do some commenting catch up (perhaps I'll spread that out over this week).
Thanks everyone for all the fun images and comments and thanks to  sherpet for starting us off with such an amazing image. It has been nice all month to jump into this forum and see that beautiful thumbnail at the top! |

My room key in my hotel. This is fouled-up on too many levels, including, specifically, the fact that I deleted the real shot and managed to keep the test shot.

Mar 30. Supposed to be a reshoot of the first shot for the Tips From The Top Floor workshop. The original flower was looking a little downtrodden and in terribly harsh light, so I cheated and shot this instead.
