I have never done a border before and would like to do a simple one on the following pics. I have PhotoShop Elements.

Please help me!

This is one site that has instructions on this: //www.suite101.com/article.cfm/photography/106170. If this doesn't work for some reason do a search on google, there are lots of other sites like this.

Nice simple frame/border like that looks really nice. Just don't get to carried away. Too fancy of a frame/border distracts from the image unless that's what you're going for :)

The angle you shot at adds a dramatic feeling to the church. Very nice halos on the chapel. Wow.
