How do I find the aperture of a photo if my software didn't pick it up in the exif data?

I am using a new camera and lense and I have not had this happen with my other camera. Would the lense being manual affect this, and if so is there a way to tell what my aperture was when referring back to my photos other than just trying to remember.

I'm not sure why the apature wouln't be picked up by the software unless you used a lens that was not compatable with the camera. Such as an old manuel lens that does not communicate it's settings to the camera.

too slow
