When the time becomes crowded and your work overloaded,
don't you just get the mood not to do any of it?
Well, guess some people are work aholics, or they thrive having a million and one things to do. Most the time so do I.
Less of course its all BS... Like the crap these idiot instructors are giving me to do.
for example....
I am in a class called 'complete web editing tool' sounds like you learn to create and maybe design web pages. Even though I know a wee bit of web design I decided to deal with the class.
well, this instructor first makes us get a second book for the class... Just because he thought it was soooo good. load of BS there. sooo concidering my student loan was running late, and he convenently forgot to tell us the bookstore got the book in before charges stopped. So i ended up being behind in the class from the get go.
anyway. soo he starts working out of the main book and this book at the same time. meaning double assignments. well I just finished a degree in Business Management. so I know a little something of something.
We have to do market research for three /four(internship) companies to include user profile, also creating site goals, an essay on the market research which includes graphic style, layout and site metaphors of the competators. and also end user scenarios,
Ohhh thats not all... also have to develop information category outlines with hierarchy, create a flow chart, a site concept and metaphor, research and document usablilty guidelines that deal with text.
yet, there has to be a color palette withe a paper describling why i choose that palette.
fonts with a paper stating why
graphic style with a paper saying why
draw a complete layout of the site with paper
create logo, making sure it fits concept and metaphor and goals and stuff. with paper
than finaly we get to go into a program none of use have ever used before and build this site. and all of this is in the first two chapters of the book.
the companies are, a Music company out of Texas with 5 signed bands, an Soc Anthroplogy department at a major college, and a museum of western art. and fourth is for a bath and shower company that makes custome shower stalls.
Ok, this isn't my only class. its just one class for three stinking credits. This guy is an idiot. I mean come on. he gives us a Week to do all of that.
Ohh yeah, the program we HAVE to use is only avalable at the school in two different classrooms, which means we have to drop another few hundred dollars to be able to get the work done at home. This is urkin the hell outa me.
Anyone out there willing to let me strangle them?
