Nikon AF-S Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED

I got a phone call this morning from the local Mesquite Newspaper and they have selected some of my photos from the Elks Lodge Fire to publish in their paper.

Doesn't surprise me at all. They were both emotive and good captures of the event.

I knew I would not get money but the photographic credit.

The local papers barely make enough to keep running at times.
I jokingly told him to mail my royalty check to the house, when he got back up off the floor and stopped laughing he said ok.

Their office only has one photographer on staff and he is running everyplace. He said he asked for more help but It went the same way as my royalty check.

LOL

I just told him if he needed me again my number is on the CD!

Well deserved you did a good job and they are nice shots. I think I looked at 90% of them.
