Is it legal for me to clone out any support wires or structures used to support a prop, under Advanced editing?
They aren't major features of the image but I can't find a way of obscuring them in shot (fishing wire, ice lolly sticks and some blu-tack!) - and I don't want to be DQ'd...

it has been done before on many occassions, depending on the types of supports, generally I have found that wires hanging down can be cloned out. If you have an example or challenge ready already done. I would just make a small jpeg with the original and edit together and send it to SC. In the end, they get the final decision. :) |

In most cases cloning out support lines such as fishing wire is legal in advanced editing. But how much you clone and how it effects the image could pose a problem. I wish I could say yea or nae but in your best interest I suggest you submit your finished photograph to the challenge and then send the Site Council a ticket asking for Pre-Challenge validation.
I wish I could have offered more help.
