So, is the D3 really an amazing camera? Does it really overcome all other dSLR available in the market? Hope you can share your feeling about it!
Thanks |

| Well I was somewhat nervous to throw down $ 5,000.00 on a camera body, but am more than glad that I did now that I've been shooting with it. It has exceeded my expectations. It is a wonderful camera. |

I've used the D3 for over a month and it is an amazing camera (My Fuji S5Pro is now my backup body)
Greatest strength is the low light performance. I can now shoot at ISO3200 with full confidence knowing that I will loose negligible
detail. The next best thing is the new autofocus system.
Overcoming all other dSLRs ? well I have tried the Canon 1D Mk III - it is another nice camera - handles really well but as far as
high sensitivity performance , the D3 is currently untouchable IMO.

| I was reading about the D3 in Rangefinder. Almost made me want to switch teams! |

Yeah, saw that one... I didn't know about a couple of features... The full res 4x5 crop (I know about the high speed crop) and the leveling sensor. If I did weddings then I would seriously think about it what with the seemingly amazing new wide zoom and the great low-light performance. Outa my price range as a decidedly non-pro so no matter :-) Hopefully, it might push Canon more seriously....
