Not sure about the times for the rest of the world but we will apparently be able to see a full lunar eclipse Thursday morning from 4am CAT. Hopefully there will be no cloud cover this time.... |

I'm keeping my eye on the hourly forecast. It has improved to partly cloudy now so I may actually get to shoot it. That would be exciting as I didn't have a very long lens last time. I think I'd use the 300mm to get the moon as clear as possible and then collage it into something like before.

Calgary should be clear. Of course the weather wizards could end up thumbing their noses at us and we could end up with hail, snow, clouds, locusts and bumblebees.

I was practicing tonight with my new camera.
took this at 1/500 at f16 at 200mm. I guess thats about as close as I can get.

I'm so bummed. I forgot about this until today and it's supposed to be visible tomorrow from about 6pm - 9pm... but I'm going to a concert! I NEVER go to concerts anymore... drat! |
