About the relatively new feature of the "preview" bar on the left when browsing photos:
I was wondering if it could respect the preference to hide nude photos. As far as I can tell, it does not - I am seeing preview images that are specified, when I look at the details, as being in the nude gallery. |

It is possible to close (or collapse, in Windows) the previews in the pane.
But, yes, it would be a convenience if they reflected my preferences. |

| I have been aware of the collapsing the previews, however - I can do that one time I am here, and the next time, they are open again. If they stayed like I specified I wanted them that would be awesome. (As far as I know I hadn't been clearing any cookies or anything.) |

This isn't about the preference being maintained for 'collapsed' previews.
The problem is that images tagged as 'Nude' still show the thumbnail image in the previews. For example, in the recent Peek-a-Boo challenge, the next to last place photo is tagged as 'Nude'. The image does not show when looking at the challenge results, nor in the user's profile. Instead it shows the 'hidden due to content' placeholder. Yet if you open the last image (not the DQ'd one) in the challenge, the preview in the left pane shows the 'Nude' categorized photo.
BTW - Don't worry about checking this if you're at work. The image I mention is classified as a 'Nude' but is certainly safe for work (well, except for the title maybe). :-)

Actually, for me at least, it is. I'd obviously love for the nude preferences to be maintained but, failing that, I can simply "turn off" the preview pane if I desire, and knowing that it will stay closed will satisfy me just fine.
I know nothing about coding or how hard either solution would be to impliment but for me, one or the other would be awesome :-) |
